Gardening gives you peace of mind If you’re looking for a new hobby or something to help manage stress, gardening might just be it! And don’t forget – plants make excellent gifts too.

I’ve always been interested in gardening, but until recently, I had no idea it could help me live longer! Turns out gardening is one of the best ways to stay healthy and happy – all while getting outside to enjoy the weather.

The American Horticultural Society reports that gardening could be the hobby that helps you live to 100. Horticultural experts claim that one of the best ways to combat disease is by getting out into nature and enjoying activities such as gardening. This National Gardening Association survey found that people who gardened were 48% less likely to die than those who didn’t garden at all. If these stats don’t convince you to start planting those seeds, we don’t know what will!
