Ubuntu Village was established in 2016 by a group of committed individuals with a vision to create a global network of self-sustaining communities. We recognize that modern society can be overwhelming and stressful with too much reliance on technology and believe that there is value in a simpler way of living. Our mission is to offer individuals the opportunity to be part of a self-reliant and self-sustaining community that is connected to the outside world for essentials but not burdened by the same stresses. Ubuntu Village offers people a chance to be accomplished in their own skin and discover the value of their abilities through meaningful work. Our goal is to build sustainable communities that serve as a model for others to emulate. We are promoting global sustainability by spreading the word and helping other communities embrace the same ethos.
